Preview: Front Cover for the Hereville Graphic Novel
Here’s the front cover! It’s mostly the same drawing as the cover to the self-published comic from two years ago, but I think this version looks better. Major props to Chad Beckerman, the book designer at Abrams.
The cover is a wrap-around cover, by the way. I hope I’ll be able to show you the full cover sometime next week.

Barry, I’ve spent the past two to three years in an intense relationship with an old high school crush(who also happens to be a very talented artist) and parenting her lovely little girl. It has been wonderful but has also exacted a cost in my energy and leisure time.
One of the pleasures I’ve been missing has been following your work, especially Hereville. With the pace of my life finally slowing down a bit, I am looking forward to getting caught up. I am eagerly awaiting the publication of the graphic novel – and I’m pretty sure I know a little girl who will enjoy reading the story of Mirka the troll-fighter.
