Hereville is coming back. When? No promises.

The good news: So after a creative block lasting well over a year, I’m back on track, and I’ve been producing new Hereville pages regularly. (5 new pages done in the last month).

The bad news: I’m not posting them yet.

Given the problems I’ve had keeping Hereville on schedule in the past, I’ve decided to wait until the “How Mirka Got a Sword” short story is complete before I post new pages. That way, new pages will appear as scheduled, without breaks, until the entire story is posted. Plus, it’ll give me a significant “cushion” as I begin drawing the next story.

Due to work and travel, I expect to have less “Hereville” time in December and January, and that “How Mirka Got A Sword” will be completed in April, at which point I’ll start posting pages every week again. But that’s just a guess; it may end up being earlier or later than that.

For anyone who’s still interested in Herevillethank you! During this long, long break, it’s really meant a lot to me that people still ask me when more Hereville will be coming out.

(There is a Livejournal on which I’m showing a handful of folks new pages as they’re produced — not just the finished pages, but also sometimes pages in progress — in order to get feedback and suggested improvements. If you’d be interested in doing that, and think you’d enjoy giving constructive feedback on art, let me know).

Great news. 😀 I’ve missed Hereville. Finishing the sword story first sounds sensible to me.

Yay! Thanks for the note. I’ll check back more often. Glad the block has cleared.
